We are seeking your views on changes to the regulation of fostering services in Wales.
Consultation description
This consultation seeks your views on a new set of fostering regulations to replace The Fostering Services (Wales) Regulations 2003.
The proposed regulations include:
- requirements upon local authority fostering services
- requirements upon independent fostering agencies
- a revised process for approving foster parents.
We are also seeking your views on draft statutory guidance and a code of practice to accompany the regulations.
